Overview

This project seeks to design a smart rain gauge system for measuring rainfall depth. The Rain Gauge tipping bucket system is near to completion. The challenge which had got to do with the development of a software for data collection and counting has been resolved. The system is now able to collect rain water by the help of a funnel and the collected water is then coupled to a tipping bucket in a flip-flop manner upon receipt of the rain water. This enables a counting process by the Arduino controller through a switching mechanism of the flip-flopping of the tipping bucket.
