Background

The research was to observe complex organic molecules in 43 massive young stellar objects (MYSO) using the Atacama Large Millimetre/Sub-millimetre Array Telescope to understand their evolutionary stages.

Data obtained from the observation underwent data reduction, and analysis including spectral analysis and identification of complex organic molecules. Spectral analysis includes modeling of molecules to obtain physical and chemical properties of the molecules.

SDG Target

4, 5 & 10

Objectives

The main Objective of the research is to understand the evolution of MYSO through observation of molecular lines of COMs
